Dr. Finkelstein is a Urologist at St. John’s Health. She is the Medical Director of Telehealth at SJH. When the pandemic hit Jackson Hole, WY, Dr. Finkelstein and her team were prepared and able to get the hospital and other independent providers on board with telemedicine quickly. She is on the board of the NRTRC (Northwest Regional Telehealth Resource Center). Her passion is Telehealth and is an integral part of the Wyoming Telehealth Network. Telehealth was her main initiative during her year as President of the Wyoming Medical Society 2018- 2019 and continues to present day.

Healthcare combined with Information Technology has been a passion of the Beyond Telehealth founders since early in their over 20+ year careers. As a small business founded in 2020, Beyond Telehealth began working within the areas of Telehealth Practice Set up, Process & Technology Consulting, and Telehealth Medical Educational sectors. Many of these were in rural settings and smaller clinics. We strive to keep the patient as the center of our mission to create easier access. The Healthcare IT world is forever changing and Beyond Telehealth began advising clients in the emerging market of telemedicine before the Covid-19 pandemic hit the United States. We partnered with, developed, and deployed telehealth programs for small provider clinics as well as a large hospital system in Wyoming. We have experience with the various telehealth tools available on the market, and we also work closely with a large nationally recognized On-Demand telehealth vendor. We are experts in the billing side and consult regularly on telehealth coding/billing initiatives. 

We have partnered with two large health care systems in Utah to set up multiple telehealth service lines. We also have consulted with medical schools and have led educational programs for medical students, residents, and medical societies. The Beyond Telehealth team is tasked with partnering with a local school system and bringing innovative ideas to assist with strategy and business planning, technology and equipment acquisition, as well as the initial implementation of remote patient monitoring (RPM) tools and processes to ensure the safety of the students and teachers alike.
